Shelby Holliday is a renowned American journalist and television news reporter. She grew up in Dallas, Texas. Holliday graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
She later went on to pursue a bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the University of San Diego. Shelby was also a member of the USD’s chapter of the Alpha Phi sorority. She also wrote the sorority’s monthly newsletter.

Holliday began her career as a producer for Fox News Channel’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” in Washington, D.C. She later worked as a reporter and anchor for WTTG Fox 5 in Washington, D.C. before joining The Wall Street Journal in 2016.
During her time at the Journal, Holliday has covered a wide range of topics, including the 2016 presidential election, the Trump administration, the protests and riots following the death of George Floyd, and the coronavirus pandemic.
Holliday has been recognized for her journalism work, including receiving the Society of Professional Journalists’ Sigma Delta Chi Award in 2018 for her coverage of the sexual misconduct allegations against former Senate candidate Roy Moore.
