Rhiannon Ally is an American Emmy-award winning anchor. She is best known as an evening co-anchor with her husband, Mike Marusarz at 41 Action News, KSHB-TV, the NBC station in Kansas City.
She has also been the morning anchor for the CBS station in Miami, the host for a nationally syndicated show in New York City and a reporter and anchor at WCBS in New York. Ally is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
She earned her first journalism career at WIBW-TV in Topeka, Kansas in 2005. There, she stayed for two years and won a Kansas Association of Broadcasters Award for “Best Morning Show.” “I’ve been fortunate to have some amazing experiences around the country growing my career. Now, as we grow our family, I’m excited to experience Kansas City, our hometown, as a mother — with many of our family and friends nearby. Ally switched from a traditional news network to the multimedia company Meredith, a marketing and advertising corporation that catered to women. She worked as a substitute news anchor, a traffic reporter, and an entertainment reporter who often features stories about celebrity appearances and VIP events.
Rhiannon left Meredith in August 2009 and began a career of working with specified shows such as the Better tv show and AXS TV’s Naughty But Nice. Both of the shows were based in New York, NY and provided lifestyle and entertainment content centered around celebrities. Ally’s work with entertainment content continued, and she landed a job as a Red Carpet Correspondent with Showtime’s show EPIX in August of 2010.

After their son’s birth, the couple decided they’d rather be closer to their family back home. The couple left Miami together and they were offered positions back near their hometowns at KSHB-TV.
