Yolanda Hadid Biography
Yolanda Hadid (born as Yolanda van den Herik ) is a American television personality and former model. She is also a producer and actress and is of the Dutch origin. Yolanda is best known for starring in the American reality-television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as well as for 1st & Ten: The Championship (1984), Lady Gaga: G.U.Y. (2014) and Model Moms.
Yolanda began modeling when a Dutch designer, Frans Molenaar, asked her to replace one of his models at a show. She was then discovered by Eileen Ford and later signed a contract with Ford Models.
Later, she modeled in Paris, Milan, Sydney, Cape Town, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and then Hamburg. For 15 years, she modeled. That was before wanting to settle down and start a family. She moved to Los Angeles to start her family after meeting and marrying Mohamed Hadid in 1994.
In 2017, she published her memoir, “Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease.” On January 11, 2018, her reality TV-show competition “Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid” started on Lifetime, it had been developed under the working title Model Moms.

Illness | Disease | Lyme Disease
In 2012, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. She has stated multiple times on several episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Hadid reported that she was having a port implanted in her arm in December 2012 to help treat her chronic Lyme disease .
She had the port removed In April 2013. The lady revealed that, as a consequence of the illness, she had “lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV”. She disclosed this in January 2015
