Lauren Susan Green is a Chief Religion Correspondent for Fox News Channel. Previously she was a headline anchor giving weekday updates at the top and bottom of the hour during morning television show Fox & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest panelist on Fox’s late-night satire show Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld. She is the first African American Miss Minnesota.

Green is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in music and piano performance in 1980. She then attended the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she earned a master’s degree in journalism in 1982.
