Evan Perez Biography
Evan Perez is a senior justice correspondent for CNN in the Washington, D.C. Bureau. He is a Maya Indian from the tiny village of Sarteneja, northern Belize.

He reports on legal, crime, and national security issues. Evans is well-known for his contributions to Inside Politics (1992), The Situation Room (2005), and At This Hour (2014).
He graduated from Florida International University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Perez began his career in Miami reporter as a reporter for the Associated Press.
